Kim Hodges

Since 2005, Kim Hodges works closely with Dean Valerie Eickmeier, community volunteers, faculty and others as they work toward the philanthropic goals of Herron School of Art and Design, a professional school of Indiana University.

Having earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Ball State University, Kim served as the graphic artist and photographer for St. Francis Hospital in Indianapolis. Later she managed the hospital’s Volunteer Services Department, and soon progressed to the St. Francis Healthcare Foundation where she began as Annual Fund Manager and eventually served as Director of Development.

After 20 years at St. Francis, and having just received her Master of Public Affairs degree in Nonprofit Management, Kim next chose Herron School of Art and Design⎯bringing her love of art and fundraising together.

Major gifts are a focus of her daily operations as she raises funds for Herron during IU’s unprecedented $2.5 billion dollar campaign.

Kim has been a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, Indiana Chapter since 2001.
