William Newhouse has over 15 years of academic arts administration experience with specific emphasis in instructional fabrication. William is currently the Manager of Shop Technologies at Emily Carr University of Art and Design. Emily Carr University moved to it’s new purpose built campus in September 2017. William has worked previously at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC), Parsons New School for Design, and The Cleveland Institute of Art. William holds a BFA in painting from the Cleveland Institute of Art, and he maintains an active practice as an artist, design consultant, and construction professional.
